Amadu Hammadu, a brilliant but needy student with a disability from Dambai Senior High School, has taken a remarkable step towards achieving his academic dreams after securing admission to study Pharmacy Technology. His story was shared on social media by Nana Tea. Through Nana Tea’s Philantropy, Amadu will finally get the help he desperately needs.

For over 15 years, Amadu has lived with a physical disability following a tragic fall from a canoe. His family was unable to afford the surgery he required, leaving him to navigate life with persistent pain and difficulty walking. Yet, despite these challenges, Amadu refused to surrender to circumstance.

Through determination and relentless hard work, he excelled academically at Dambai SHS, graduating with an outstanding six As and two Bs.

Amadu’s journey has been anything but easy. He lost his father and now lives with his mother, who struggles daily to provide basic necessities. Still, Amadu continues to dream boldly. His aspiration is to become a medical doctor, inspired by a desire to help others who suffer, just as he has.

Securing admission into tertiary education marks a significant milestone in his journey. However, the road ahead remains demanding, with financial responsibilities that must be met to ensure he can fully settle into school and continue his studies.

If ever there was a student deserving of support, it is Amadu Hammadu. His story is one of courage, perseverance, and hope, and it deserves to be carried forward.
